This wearable object explores the relationship between gravity, movement, and chaos. Inspired by the Astojax toy (a yo-yo-like system consisting of three interconnected balls) the project emerged from an investigation into the three-body problem, chaos theory, mass distribution, kinetic energy, and rotational dynamics.

The research into these physical systems developed alongside an exploration of form and material. The aim was to create a necklace that functions both as a wearable object and as a kinetic toy. Forms derived from variables within the underlying physical calculations were turned in wax on a lathe. The wax components were then cast in brass and silver-plated.

When worn, the chain becomes an interactive object that invites play. By introducing kinetic energy through movement, the wearer creates a constantly changing and inherently chaotic system.
At the same time, the system offers a possibility for control. Slow, regular movements can produce a more balanced and predictable motion, while sudden or restless movements cause the balls to move unpredictably in different directions. The object therefore becomes a sensitive reflection of the energy introduced by the person interacting with it, transforming physical movement into a visible dialogue between control and chaos.
