The Sackkarre Kitchen is a collaborative project between my brother and designer Jasper O’Callaghan and myself. We both live in Pforzheim and share a passion for cooking and hosting. For us, food is a medium to bring people together, encourage exchange, and express appreciation. With this project, we want to use food as a way to show our appreciation for the city.
The Sackkarre Kitchen is a mobile pop-up kitchen built on two sack trolleys. Pforzheim is a small city where everything is within walking distance, and we want to place our mobile kitchen in specific locations around town to draw attention to them.
The project is still in development - we’ve already built the first functional prototype and are currently working on the second one.
